How would you describe your Mirka Bridal Couture experience?
My experience with Mirka was perfect from start to finish. I had attended some other bridal boutiques before going to Mirka Bridal Couture and I was deflated and a bit fed up as not finding “the one”. To be honest I think I just knew exactly what I wanted and nothing was giving that!
Can you tell us a bit about your dress?
My dress was my sparkly, fun dream! It was sparkly, shimmery and elegant all in one. I decided pretty last minute to add a cape and I was so happy with this decision. It gave the wow factor for walking down the aisle but was removable for the partying later on.
When did you know you had found the dress for you?
To be honest I knew from when Mirka sent me the sketch. She just completely understood my vision!
How did you find the process of having a dress made to measure for you?
Surprisingly - after finding dress shopping stressful - I found the whole process fun. Mirka listened to every “tweak” I wanted and nothing was too must hassle to her!
Did you end up choosing a dress in the style you thought you were going to go for or was it something completely different?
This dress I chose was exactly what I pictured - but better!
How did you feel in your dress on the day?
I felt so good in my dress on the day - comfortable, radiant and most importantly confident!
Tell us more about your big day / What was your biggest wedding inspiration?
Our big day was one big party start to finish - we dance to 3a’s a crowd on the lawns at Balbirnie and continued the dancing throughout our meal and reception with Fife Wedding Entertainments. Our guests commented on how fun our day was - exactly what we aimed for!
What is your favourite picture from your wedding day and why is this image so special to you?
My favourite image is us walking back down the aisle after the ceremony! We both looked so happy and I know in that moment we were both relaxed and ready to enjoy the rest of our special day!
