A wedding like no other! Vanessa and Stuart’s magical Gothic celebration was filled with romance, drama and unforgettable details.

Vanessa looked absolutely stunning in her sparkling black wedding gown from Mirka Bridal Couture, proving that bridal beauty doesn’t have to follow tradition.

**How would you describe your Mirka Bridal Couture experience?**

Mirka was lovely and reassuring from the start! She went looking for plus size black dresses for me and got me a few to try out on my first appointment. Mirka was fantastic throughout the whole process and made sure everything was to my liking, I can't recommend her enough!

**How did you know you’ve found THE dress for you?**

I didn't get that teary up moment that some brides describe, I knew what I wanted and Mirka got it for me, when I tried the dress on with alterations and in black, it just felt like it was made for me.

Your wedding was so unique! What was your biggest wedding inspiration?

I wanted my wedding to be very us, I knew exactly what type of wedding I wanted from the moment I proposed to my husband. I went for Gothic Halloween romance and it all worked out perfectly! I chose every minute detail of it, from the table centrepieces to the cake and the DJ playlist, everything was curated to represent everything we love, the day was brilliant!

Did you end up choosing a dress in the style you thought you were going to go for or was it something completely different?

I was lucky enough to get everything I wanted in a dress, the off the shoulder straps, the lace, sequins and glitter and in black with the sweetheart neckline! I wanted Disney Evil Queen and Mirka delivered 100% to that specification.
